1990 ACU 750cc TT F1 Regulations

Motorcycles for the 750cc TT F1 category correspond to four-stroke solo motorcycles complying with FIM regulations for Formula One machines.

Engine capacities

701-750cc, four-stroke, 4-cylinder, no minimum weight;
751-1000cc, four-stroke, 2-cylinder (including rotary engines), no minimum weight.

Championship rules

Qualifying format

1 official qualifying session, each rider's fastest lap time is taken as their qualification time.

Race format

1 race of at least 25 miles distance at each round. The starting grid will be based on official qualification times.

Points system

Riders Championship: 1st: 10; 2nd: 9; 3rd: 8; 4th: 7; 5th: 6; 6th: 5; 7th: 4; 8th: 3; 9th: 2; 10th: 1.
