1994 FIM Superbike European Championship
The FIM split the European Superbike Championship back into its own entity for 1994 but it garnered little interest from participants and spectators alike, though the minimal 4-race calendar surely didn't help. 3 of those races were won by local riders stomping the competition on circuits they knew well - and it would have been all 4 had Marek Morávek not crashed out of the lead at Most. Anders Rasmussen's solid finishes in every race earned him the title by just a handful of points and made him Denmark's first ever European Champion.
